Monster Cookies
This is a perfect recipe for fall! These cookies sound amazing and will be the perfect addition to your fall festivities or events! This was submitted by Cc Wife Claire K.
MONSTER COOKIES
What you need:
½ cup butter or margarine, softened 1 cup sugar
1 cup plus 2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
3 eggs
2 cups peanut butter
¾ teaspoon light corn syrup
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
47 cups regular oats, uncooked
2 teaspoons baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup candy-coated milk chocolate pieces
1 (6-ounce) package semisweet chocolate morsels
Directions:
Cream butter; gradually add sugars.
Beat well at medium speed of an electric mixer. Add eggs, peanut butter, syrup, and vanilla; beat well. Add oats, soda, and salt; stir well. Stir in remaining ingredients. (Dough will be stiff.)
Pack dough into a ¼-cup measure.
Drop dough 4 inches apart, onto lightly greased cookie sheets. Lightly press each cookie into a 3½-inch circle with finger-tips. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes (centers of cookies will be slightly soft).
Cool slightly on cookie sheets; remove to wire racks, and cool completely.
